About Indie PH
Indie PH is a long-term personal project and an independent space where photography becomes a way to stay present while moving through places.
I travel constantly, mostly for work and sometimes simply to explore the world. Conferences, meetings, short stays, familiar and unfamiliar streets. Photography has become a way to slow down, observe, and create a sense of continuity while everything around me keeps changing.
This project is not tied to a specific photographic genre. People, architecture, events, and everyday scenes coexist naturally. What matters is not the subject itself, but the act of paying attention while being in a place. The focus is on attention rather than output.
Indie PH brings together photographs, maps, and written fragments. Maps offer starting points for walking and observing. Stories collect moments as they unfold. Notes provide context and reflections that emerge along the way.
About me
My name is Ruben R. Tognetti. I am a multimedia expert and digital journalist working primarily with European research projects. Alongside my professional work, photography has remained a personal practice, one that allows me to connect with people, collect stories, and experience cities beyond schedules and expectations.
Indie PH exists as a parallel path: slower, quieter, and entirely my own.
